			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>To web address we say URL , I mean url is the another word of web address.  Url can be make of words, as &#8220;ebookslab.org or Internet protocol (IP) address: 182.55.15.25. Mostly people enter the name of website because names are more easy to remember than numbers.</p>
<p>URL &#8211; Uniform Resource Locator</p>
<p>Web browsers request pages from web servers by using a url.</p>
<p>When we click on a link in html page , &lt;a&gt; tag points to an address on the world wide web.</p>
<p>Uniform Resource Locator or url is used to address a document on the world wide web.</p>
<p>Web address like this <a href="http://www.ebookslab.org/">http://www.ebookslab.org/</a> follows some syntax rules which are here:</p>
<p>scheme://host.domain:port/path/filename</p>
<p>Explanation are here:</p>
<ul>
<li> <strong>scheme</strong> &#8211; defines the type of internet service.  common type is http</li>
<li><strong>host</strong>- defines the domain host (the default host for http is www)</li>
<li><strong>domain</strong>- defines the Internet domain name like ebookslab.org</li>
<li>:<strong>port</strong>- defines the port number at the host (the default port number for http is 90)</li>
<li><strong>path</strong> &#8211; defines path at the server (if omitted, the document must be stored at the root directory of the website)</li>
<li><strong>filename</strong> &#8211; defines the name of a document/resource</li>
</ul>
<p>Here are a table in which there are a list of some common schemes:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ebookslab.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/urlencoding.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-107646" title="urlencoding" src="http://www.ebookslab.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/urlencoding-300x84.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="84" /></a></p>
<p>URLs can only be sent over the internet using the ASCII character set.</p>
<p>URLs often contain characters outside the ASCII character set</p>
<p>URL encoding replaces unsafe ASCII character with a &#8220;%&#8221; followed by two hexadecimal digits.</p>
<p>URLs can not contain spaces this encoding normally replaces a space with a + sign.</p>

<p>&lt;script&gt; tag is used to define a clean-side script like java script</p>
<p>&lt;html&gt;<br />
&lt;body&gt;<br />
&lt;script&gt;</p>
<p>document.write(&#8220;Hello Everyone&#8221;)</p>
<p>document.write(&#8220;&lt;h2&gt;For heading&lt;/h2&gt;&#8221;)</p>
<p>document.write(&#8220;&lt;p&gt;For paragraph&lt;/p&gt;&#8221;)</p>
<p>&lt;/script&gt;<br />
&lt;/body&gt;<br />
&lt;/html&gt;</p>
<p>Result:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ebookslab.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/javascript.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-107604" title="javascript" src="http://www.ebookslab.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/javascript.jpg" alt="" width="144" height="138" /></a></p>
<p>Java script can react to event like this:</p>
<p>&lt;html&gt;<br />
&lt;body&gt;<br />
&lt;script&gt;</p>
<p>document.write(&#8220;&lt;h1&gt;java script&lt;/h2&gt;&#8221;)<br />
document.write(&#8220;&lt;p&gt;This is first java script&lt;/p&gt;&#8221;)</p>
<p>&lt;/script&gt;<br />
&lt;button type=&#8221;button&#8221; onclick=&#8221;myFunction()&#8221;&gt;Click Me!&lt;/button&gt;</p>
<p>&lt;/body&gt;<br />
&lt;/html&gt;</p>
<p>Result:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ebookslab.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/javascript1.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-107606" title="javascript1" src="http://www.ebookslab.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/javascript1.jpg" alt="" width="171" height="153" /></a></p>
<p>Java script can manipulate HTML style.</p>
<p>&lt;html&gt;<br />
&lt;body&gt;</p>
<p>&lt;p id=&#8221;demo&#8221;&gt;<br />
javaScript can change the style of an HTML element.<br />
&lt;/p&gt;</p>
<p>&lt;script&gt;</p>
<p>function myFunction()<br />
{<br />
x=document.getElementById(&#8220;demo&#8221;) // Find the element</p>
<p>x.style.color=&#8221;#0000ff&#8221;;          // Change the style<br />
}<br />
&lt;/script&gt;<br />
&lt;button type=&#8221;button&#8221; onclick=&#8221;myFunction()&#8221;&gt;Click Me!&lt;/button&gt;</p>
<p>&lt;/body&gt;<br />
&lt;/html&gt;</p>
<p>Result:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ebookslab.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/javascript10.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-107609" title="javascript10" src="http://www.ebookslab.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/javascript10-300x83.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="83" /></a></p>
